🌱 The M.A.P. Methodology
Measure · Assess · Progress
Every player’s journey starts the same way — with a game, a coach, and a dream to get better.
At Proseed, we believe development shouldn’t be a mystery or a privilege. It should be something every player can see and understand.
The M.A.P. Methodology gives players, parents, and clubs a simple framework for growth:
Measure what happens, Assess what it means, and Progress with purpose.
That’s how young players learn not just to play football — but to understand it.
Measure.
You can’t manage what you can’t measure.
We start with the basics: collecting real performance data from each player’s training and matches. Using small wearable trackers, we capture thousands of data points — distance covered, top speed, intensity, and more.
This is the foundation of the M.A.P. Methodology: accurate, objective measurement.
It’s not about judgement; it’s about visibility — showing players and parents what’s really happening out there.
At this stage, it’s all numbers — and that’s by design. For families or clubs who want to go further, Proseed offers optional add-ons:
Video analysis for visual feedback, and
Coaching insight for technical and tactical interpretation.
But every player starts with the same thing — a clear, honest picture of their performance.
Goal:Replace guesswork with accurate, meaningful information about performance.
Assess.
Turning information into understanding.
Once we’ve gathered the data, we start to make sense of it. We interpret performance through the Proseed Player Attribute Matrix — a growing model that helps us spot patterns in a player’s data based on their position and level.
As the data grows, our benchmarks will become richer and more precise.
For now, we use a mix of coaching knowledge, position profiles, and early data trends to give players useful context — not as hard science, but as practical insight that improves with time.
This is a living framework, not a fixed formula.
Every new player helps refine it, making the comparisons smarter and more relevant for everyone who follows.
Goal:Make progress visible and meaningful, not just statistical.
Progress.
Progress is where it all comes together.
From the measurements and assessments, we start shaping a path forward.
That might mean technical drills to sharpen a weakness, awareness work to improve decision-making, or setting simple, achievable targets over time.
The data and assessment tells a clear story of improvement: effort turning into progress, week by week to provide the kind of purposeful repetition that builds confidence.
For players with video or coaching upgrades, that path becomes even more detailed — tactical clips, position-specific plans, deeper insights.
With Proseed, progress isn’t about instant results. It’s about direction.
It shows young players that development is something they can influence — not something that just happens to them.
Goal: Give every player a roadmap for improvement they can understand and act on.
